Install Platform Tram Stops

Description: Platform stops improve this situation through the provision of passengers platforms raised to the level of low floor trams next to the tracks in the middle of the road. Passengers access the platform using signal controlled pedestrian crossings.On roads with lower traffic levels, platforms are accessed via zebra crossings at the ends of the platform.

Comments: CMF of pedestrian-vehicle all injury crashes without considering passenger increment after replacing safety zone tram stops with platform stops. This study used before-after using comparison group and was adjusted by passenger volumes.
